Our park cleanup day took a weird turn with a goose

Ngl, a goose decided to 'help' by chasing leaves. Honestly, it kept the kids entertained while we worked.

Yeah those park geese are something else. @david739 has the right idea with the corn, reminds me of one that stole a volunteer's whole sandwich right out of their hand. Just took it and waddled off.

Actually, squirrels are the real menaces in my local park. They dig up all the new plants the gardeners put in every spring. Saw one straight up take a whole tomato from a community plot last year, just hauled it up a tree. At least geese usually stick to the grass and ponds.

Ha, been there with geese! Honestly, just toss some cracked corn away from where you're working and they'll chase that instead. Tbh, it keeps them busy without messing up your cleanup.
