Paid $240 for a volunteer coordinator and it backfired hard

I run a small food pantry in Tulsa and thought hiring a coordinator would fix our scheduling mess. She lasted 6 weeks, deleted our signup spreadsheet, and ghosted us right before the Thanksgiving drive. We wasted $240 plus hours redoing her mistakes with zero net gain. Has anyone else had worse luck paying for help instead of just doing it yourself?
