The litter cleanup sign I kept ignoring for 10 months finally clicked on Sunday

Our neighborhood group post near the playground said 'every bag filled buys one kid a swim pass' and I thought it was just another ask, then I watched a retiree fill three bags in 20 minutes and the math hit me. Has anyone else found a small concrete reward is what actually gets them out there, or am I just stubborn?
