Vent: I started a tool library on my block in Rochester and half the neighbors think it's stealing
Six houses on my street agreed to share a shed of gear back in April, and now 14 people use it, with 32 items logged on a paper sheet. My neighbor Deb swears it's how her dad's mower walked off, but I think people just don't like handing over their stuff to strangers. Is a locked box with a sign-out list too much to ask, or should we go back to asking each other face to face?
