Every morning on the 42 route downtown, this one guy spreads his bag and legs across two seats like it's his living room, and nobody says a word. I finally asked him to move last Tuesday and he just sighed like I was the problem. Does anyone else call these people out, or do we all just suffer in silence?
Is it possible he's not actually trying to take up space on purpose? I ride the 42 too and there's a guy near the back who sits kind of twisted because of a bad hip, and his bag goes on the seat just so he can get up without falling. Not saying that's your guy, but I've jumped to the wrong call before and felt like a jerk after. Asking him to move was fair, you paid your fare same as him, I just wouldn't read too much into the sigh. Some people are rude, some are just sore and tired.
