It drives me crazy when diagnostic software restarts without warning
I was running a full system scan (you know, the kind that takes ages) and bam, the software decided to update and reboot. Lost all my progress, which meant starting from scratch. It's not just annoying, it eats up the customer's time too. I've started making it a habit to check for updates before any big job (a tip I picked up from a forum actually). But really, the software should just wait for a better moment. Anyone else deal with this?

Automakers recall cars for less disruptive faults than forced software reboots.

I mean Tesla's over-the-air fixes beat a dealership visit any day.

Wait, those forced reboots are actually part of the recall... they just fix it with an update.
