Guy on a job in Akron told me to skip the laser screed and trust the strike board, and I still wonder who was right
He said his old boss threw a 2x4 over a 40x60 slab and hit FF 35 without any electronics, but I keep hearing the opposite from guys doing big warehouse floors. Was he just old school, or do some of you get cleaner numbers with a plain board too?
