Spent 3 hours chasing a honeycomb finish on a garage slab in Boise
Kept adding water to the mix and working it longer, but it just got worse. Turned out my screed was sitting in the sun all morning and the hot metal was drying the surface before I could float it. Any of you had to switch to a different screed or shade it to fix this?

Did the hot screed really dry it, or was it just too much water in the mix?
