IMDb 8.2 for that 1997 kids movie? No way I checked twice

Last night I rewatched that animated dragon film from 97 with my nephew and honestly it does NOT hold up. I looked it up on IMDb out of curiosity and it has an 8.2 which blew my mind. That score is higher than some classics I actually enjoyed. Has anyone else noticed how older kids movies get inflated ratings just from nostalgia? What other scores have you seen that totally missed the mark for you?
