That guy in Fresno was full of it. Meeting at a police station is smart, not weird. People ghost for all kinds of reasons and it usually has nothing to do with where you meet up. If someone bails just because the spot is a cop shop, that tells you way more about them than about you. Honestly, safer spots should be the norm, not something you have to explain. Sounds like you just found a spot that filters out the flakes and keeps you safe at the same time.
