PSA: The guy selling a 'lightly used' table saw in Bakersfield wanted cash and would not stop texting me
Met a guy in a Walmart parking lot off Rosedale last Saturday to look at a $120 table saw he listed as barely used. He showed up 40 minutes late, then kept asking if I was alone and if I had the full amount in cash on me. I asked to plug it in and he got weird, saying the outlet at his shop was broken and I should just trust him. When I said no thanks and started walking back to my truck, he followed me for a bit yelling about how I wasted his afternoon. Ended up blocking his number after 11 texts in one night, some of them just a photo of the saw sitting in his trunk. I now meet people at the police station on Rosedale, but has anyone else had a seller get this pushy about cash only?
