Checked out the new job site at the old foundry on 3rd street yesterday
Those temporary shoring beams they set up are way too close to the crane swing radius and someone's gonna lose a boom if they don't move them before we start lifts Monday has anyone else run into safety guys ignoring clearance zones like that?

Way too close to the crane swing radius" sounds like a solid reason to push back on the schedule, not a sign the safety guys messed up. Those beams probably have a permit and an engineer's stamp, so it's more likely your lift plan needs adjusting than the shoring being in the wrong spot.

...and honestly I think people get way too worked up about crane swing radius stuff. Like yeah, it's something to be aware of, but I've seen jobs where they treat a 5 foot proximity like it's the end of the world. Half the time the operator can just swing a little wider or the spotter adjusts a tagline and nobody dies. Those beams with the engineer's stamp probably have a factor of safety built in that could handle a bump anyway. Not saying ignore the rules, but acting like the lift plan is somehow dangerous because a rental beam is close to the swing? Come on.
