Had a load shift on me at a job site in Phoenix last Tuesday
I was picking a steel beam near a new parking garage and the wind caught it just wrong. The load started swinging about 30 feet up and I had to set it down quick before it hit the wall. My spotter yelled at me to hold steady and we got it under control, but my hands were shaking for a good 10 minutes after. Anyone else have a scary moment with wind that came out of nowhere?

Phoenix dust devil almost took my drill off a roof last July, a solid 80 pounds just bounced two feet sideways. Wind's no joke down there but a little sway keeps you on your toes, honestly builds better reflexes than a dead calm day.

Is it just me or does it seem like the universe always finds a way to keep you paying attention? @harper_owens I mean, that's wild about the drill but I totally get what you're saying about building reflexes. I've noticed this with other stuff too, like how driving through a sudden rainstorm makes you a more alert driver for the rest of the day. It's almost like the body stores up that little panic and turns it into something useful for later.
