Ran the same prompt through my writers group in January vs now and the stories got worse
In January our group of 8 in Portland wrote 800 word stories off one prompt and the stuff was sharp, weird, unpredictable. Now most of us reach for a chatbot first, and last Tuesday all 5 stories shared the same plot about a lighthouse keeper who learns a lesson. I think the tool flattened how we start, not how we finish. Anyone else seeing prompts push everyone toward the exact same opening scene?
