Worst writing day of my life, lost 3k words to a frozen laptop
Last month I had a full day off work to finally write a chapter I'd been planning for weeks. Got 3,000 words in, feeling great, then my laptop froze and I'd forgotten I turned off autosave. The whole afternoon was shot because I spent 4 hours trying recovery software and got nothing back. Does anyone here keep a backup routine that actually works without being annoying to maintain?
