Lost $600 to a fake PayPal email last Thursday, and I'm still mad at myself
Got an email saying my PayPal account was locked and I needed to verify within 24 hours. The sender address looked right at a glance so I clicked the link and typed in my login without thinking twice. A day later I saw 3 charges to my card I didn't make, totaling $600. Now I check the actual sender domain on my phone before clicking anything, but what else should I be doing to catch these before it's too late?
