That fake QR code on a parking meter in Austin got me thinking
Last week I was in Austin for a doctor's appointment and tried to pay at a meter downtown. Someone had slapped a sticker with a QR code over the real one, and the fake link went to a page asking for my card details. I caught it because the URL looked off, but I bet plenty of people don't look twice. Has anyone else seen these stickers popping up in their city, and what do you do to spot them fast?
