I thought those 'mall revival' Facebook groups were just nostalgia bait until I saw what happened at Northgate in Duluth
I joined a few of those 'save our mall' groups about 8 months ago just to lurk, figured it was all old photos and people complaining. Then a group in Duluth actually got 40 local businesses to set up a weekend market inside the empty Northgate Mall food court, and it pulled in like 2,000 people over two days. The mall is still mostly empty but three of those vendors ended up signing actual leases there. Curious if anyone else has seen a group like this actually pull something off, or was Duluth just a fluke?
