Showerthought: spraying my old Denver garage door track with silicone instead of white grease finally shut it up
Been fighting a screech from the door on my 1950s barn for two winters now, and a guy at the Ace on Colfax said grease just traps grit in our dust. One $8 can of silicone spray on the rollers and it's been quiet for 3 weeks. Anyone else had grease make their track worse out here?
