Am I the only one who thinks the DIA train announcement thing is weird

Rode the train from Concourse B to baggage claim last Tuesday and heard the same recording say "stand clear of the closing doors" like 6 times before they actually closed. Now I time it with my watch every time I fly, and it's never under 5 seconds.
