Went with a reman water pump over new on a 6.7 and I keep going back and forth on it
Had a customer's 2014 Ram 2500 in the shop about three weeks ago with a coolant leak out the weep hole. New OEM pump was $340 and the reman was $180, so I went reman to save the guy some money since he was already looking at a grand in labor. It lasted 11 days and started weeping again, and of course he was 200 miles from home when it let go. Pulled it, ate the labor, and put a new one in. I know remans have come a long way but this one burned me, curious if you guys have had better luck with them or if I should just quit rolling the dice.
