Why does nobody talk about drawing with a $2 ballpoint instead of a $300 tablet
I did a whole month of daily sketches on my iPad last fall and then tried the same thing with a cheap Bic pen on printer paper, and the pen drawings had way more life in them. The tablet let me undo everything so I never committed to a line, but the pen forced me to slow down and think before each stroke. Anyone else find that limitations make their art better than endless tools?
