Hotel wifi in Porto made me change how I pick apartments

Last month I stayed in a well-reviewed spot near Ribeira that had excellent reviews for 'fast internet,' but the 12 Mbps connection kept dropping during my client calls. I finally started messaging hosts on Airbnb before booking to ask for a speed test screenshot, and it has saved me three times already. Has anyone else found a reliable way to force hosts to be honest about their connection quality?

Whoa, that's actually a solid move! I'd take it one step further and ask them to run the test on a video call, since screenshots can be faked or taken from a different network. Maybe even ask for a download AND upload speed, because hotels usually lie about the upload part and that's what kills your calls anyway.
