Picked a 6-month slow stay in Mexico City over hopping through 4 countries

I was torn between bouncing around Central America or settling somewhere for a while. Chose CDMX in March, mostly because my wifi kept failing in hostels and I needed to actually deliver client work. Rent ran about $700 a month in Roma Norte, and honestly the steady routine helped me land two new contracts. Has anyone else traded the fast travel pace for a longer base, and did it feel like the right call?
