Realized my "work from anywhere" setup was just a desk shuffle
I used to think being a digital nomad meant I had to have the perfect laptop stand, portable monitor, and noise-cancelling headphones. For two years I carried a 15-pound backpack through Bangkok and Lisbon, always chasing that ideal cafe. Then last March in Medellin, my $40 folding table collapsed mid-call and I just worked off the bed. Now I travel with only my 13-inch MacBook and a flip phone for calls, and I get more done. Has anyone else found that stripping down the gear actually made their workflow better?
