Why does nobody check their fan orientation before buttoning up a mod?

I just spent an hour undoing a full shell swap on my PS5 because the guy I bought the custom faceplate from put the top fan in backwards. Air was blowing down instead of up, and my temps jumped 15 degrees. How hard is it to look at the arrow on the side of the fan before you tighten the screws?

Laughing at this because I literally just did the same thing on my own PC last week. Spent 20 minutes cursing my cable management skills only to realize the fan was pushing hot air right back into the case. idk maybe it's just me but I swear the arrow on those fans is like a secret code nobody bothers to read. At least you caught it before you cooked your PS5, I guess.

Actually the REAL secret nobody talks about is that half these fan manufacturers put the arrow pointing the WRONG direction on purpose for some models. I checked my case fan last week and the little arrow was supposed to show airflow direction but it was actually pointing at the intake side. Had to google the model number and found a forum where three other people had the same issue. Double check your fan brand's documentation if you're still having trouble, the arrow might just be lying to you.
