Question about my desk going from cardboard box to real wood in 3 weeks
Ngl I propped my monitor on a cardboard box for 8 months and just dealt with it. Last month I finally grabbed a $35 solid core door from the ReStore on Grand Ave and screwed on some $19 hairpin legs from the hardware store. The wobble went away the same day, which surprised me since I figured the door would be too heavy. Took me 3 weeks to sand and seal it because I kept putting it off between coats. Has anyone else used a door slab and did you bother adding a brace in the middle?

Skip the brace, doors are built stiff enough already.
