Why I stopped using those fancy cable organizers
My buddy Mark, who runs a repair shop in Cleveland, told me zip ties are better than those velcro straps for cable management. He showed me how his setup held up after 2 years of swapping drives, and now I'm thinking I wasted money on the pretty stuff. Anyone else find zip ties just work better long term?

Wait, has nobody talked about how zip ties can crack over time in cold basements or garages? That's why I still lean on the velcro sometimes. @rose_grant78 makes a good point about the fuzzy thing though, especially if you're always swapping cables out.

Oh man, zip ties are totally the way to go. I switched from velcro straps a couple years back and never looked back, they stay tight and dont get all fuzzy. Just make sure you snip the ends flush so you dont cut yourself on them later.
