That $12 digital level from Harbor Freight is way more accurate than I thought

I was building a new workbench last weekend and kept second-guessing my old bubble level. Looked up the specs on the $12 digital level from Harbor Freight and it claims +/- 0.1 degrees accuracy at 24 inches. Tested it against a friend's $80 Stabila and it was spot on for all my crosscuts on the bench top. Anyone else found cheap tools that actually perform way better than you'd expect?

Haven't you always felt like cheap tools are usually a gamble, though? I used to think anything from Harbor Freight under $20 was basically a disposable toy for one-time use. But that little level has definitely changed my mind about what you can get for the money.

Hold up - that Stabila probably has way tighter tolerances out of the box than a cheap digital level. Those Harbor Freight ones can drift or lose calibration if you drop them once. You mightve gotten lucky with yours, but Ive seen too many cheap digital levels read off by a quarter degree after a couple months on the job site.

Hold the phone @joseph932, but Stabila's actually made solid levels way before digital ones got popular.
