500 drawings in a year? Your hand must have hurt, I know mine would. Did you even sleep at all between those lines, or was it just coffee and the will to keep going? Burnout sounds about right for that kind of pace, honestly.

Tbh, that kind of pace really takes a toll on you. I did something similar a few years ago when I was trying to build my portfolio, and my hand was cramping up so bad I could barely hold a pencil by month three. Sleep was definitely optional some nights, just endless cups of tea and pushing through the ache. The burnout hit me hard around month eight, and I ended up taking a full month off just to recover. It's wild how much passion can drive you past your limits, but your body will make you pay for it later. Solidarity with anyone who's been through that grind.
