TIL a quick trick for calming red skin after extractions
Last week, a client came in for a deep pore cleanse and her cheeks got super red after I finished. I remembered something my old boss in Tampa taught me three years ago. She kept a small spray bottle of plain aloe vera juice in the fridge. I spritzed it on a cool gauze pad and held it on the red areas for about a minute. The redness went down almost instantly. What other quick fixes do you all use for post-extraction irritation?

Wish I'd known that trick last time I got a facial. My face looked like a tomato for hours. I keep a cheap bottle of witch hazel in my bathroom now. Soaking a cotton pad in the cold stuff and pressing it on the spots helps me a ton. It stings for a second but the redness calms right down.

That aloe trick is smart! It's funny how the best fixes are usually the simplest things, like keeping something basic in the fridge.

Always thought you needed fancy creams for burns. But yeah, @james_ramirez, keeping plain aloe in the fridge changed my mind. Simple is better.
