Showerthought: My anvil makes a terrible frying pan

I was out camping and forgot my frying pan, so I tried to cook eggs on my portable anvil. The eggs just slid off and now it smells like burnt food. What's the weirdest thing you've used your tools for?

Saw a forum thread once where a guy admitted to using a crescent wrench as a makeshift hammer in a pinch. Another person said they've used screwdrivers to pry open paint cans or scrape off old gaskets. Tools just end up filling roles they were never meant for, right? Makes you wonder how many "proper" uses actually came from someone's creative mistake.

Seriously, that wrench story makes me wonder about the reverse process too. Do you suppose tool companies actually watch for these common misuses and then design new tools around them? Like maybe the first dedicated gasket scraper existed because enough people ruined screwdrivers doing it.

My toolbox is basically a museum of bad ideas. Pretty sure my screwdriver's main job is opening Amazon boxes now.
