Update: That time a client's miniature donkey tried to 'help' me in Boise
I was trimming a hoof last week when it grabbed my rasp right out of my hand and trotted off, chewing on the handle. Anyone had an animal steal a tool before?

Sounds like you got promoted from farrier to toy supplier. That donkey clearly has a better business plan, acquiring tools without paying for them. You have to respect the hustle, even if it means chasing down a miniature equine thief. At least it wasn't the nippers.

Honestly used to think only dogs or goats were that bold about taking stuff. Then my friend's mini horse decided my hoof pick was a fun new toy. It was a whole production trying to get it back while he played keep away. They have such strong opinions about what belongs to them. It really changed my mind about how clever and stubborn the little ones can be. That rasp is probably the donkey's favorite thing now.
