My bathroom sink drain was way slower than I thought it should be

I mean, I was just messing around on YouTube and found this video from a plumber in Cincinnati. He said a standard bathroom sink drain should empty a gallon in under 30 seconds, so I timed mine and it took almost two minutes. I pulled the stopper and the gunk was insane, like a little hair monster. Has anyone else actually timed their drains to see if they're running slow?

Saw a thing online that said slow drains can actually attract bugs, which is pretty gross. Makes you want to check it more often, right? That hair monster sounds about right for how it gets.

What kind of bugs are we talking about here? That's way worse than just a clog.
