Scored a vintage Pyrex bowl set at the Springfield flea market for $30

I saw them under a table at the last booth, the whole nesting set with the blue cornflower pattern. They were a little dusty but no chips or cracks, and I knew they usually go for way more online. Has anyone else found good kitchen stuff lately, and what's your best tip for checking glassware for damage?

Oh man, that's a killer find! Always run your finger around the rim and the bottom edge, that's where tiny chips hide. The light trick is good too, hold it up to check for cracks you might miss.

Nice score, the cornflower pattern is a classic. I found a green mixing bowl from that same line at a yard sale last year, but it was just the one piece. Do you tap the glass lightly with your fingernail too? A clear ring means it's solid, but a dull thud can point to a hidden stress crack.
