Spent a full day trying to match a specific shade of dusty rose for a wedding in Austin...
It took mixing four different dye batches and calling two other shops before I got it close. Anyone else have a color that just wouldn't cooperate?

Four dye batches? Man, I once tried to match a "sage green" that ended up looking like baby food. I feel your pain.

Baby food green sounds kind of awesome though. That weird color is part of the charm of a custom dye job. The little mistakes make it yours. A perfect match from a store would be boring. Four tries just shows you cared enough to get it right.

Feel your pain. Honestly, @simong79 is right about those weird colors. Sometimes close enough is a win.
