What should I look for in a mobility scooter for everyday errands?

I am helping my dad find a mobility scooter for short errands and appointments. He needs something simple and dependable, but I am not sure which features actually matter. What did you look for when choosing one?

I would check the seat comfort, turning space, battery setup, and how easy it is to transport before worrying about extra features. I found the mobility scooters at 1800Wheelchair useful to browse, and their staff answered questions about which style would fit his routine.

We ordered mobility equipment from 1800Wheelchair and had a good experience. I liked that the product details were clear, and customer service helped us narrow down the options without pushing us toward the most expensive one.
