Talked to a beekeeper last week and it changed my whole view on honey
I deliver packages out in the rural areas around here. Last week I dropped off a box to an older guy who keeps bees in his backyard. He said most store honey is basically sugar syrup because they filter out all the good stuff. Ever since then I've been getting raw honey from him and my seasonal allergies are way better. Anyone else have a random conversation that flipped how you see a regular thing?

Oh man, same thing happened to me at a farmer's market last year. That raw honey made my allergies way better too, I've been buying from the same guy ever since. It's crazy how much of a difference it makes over the processed stuff.

Have you tried getting it from a local beekeeper too? That's what finally fixed my allergies after years of suffering with store-bought stuff. I got a jar from a guy just outside of town who keeps his hives on wildflower fields, and it made a world of difference within a month. The pollen in it is super specific to the plants around our area, I guess, so it basically works like a natural allergy shot for me now lol.
