Found a weird fix for my Jeep's death wobble that actually worked

My 2005 Wrangler TJ got a nasty death wobble above 50 mph after I put on some 35s. I checked all the usual stuff, track bar, ball joints, you name it. Out of pure frustration, I rotated the tires front to back, even though they were all the same size and wear. The wobble is 90% gone now. Has anyone else had a wobble that was just a weird tire issue?

Honestly, rotating tires on a TJ with 35s just masks the real problem.

That's how a lot of things work, people just treat the symptom. You see it with old houses where they keep painting over the rot instead of fixing the beam. What's the actual fix for the TJ then?

Man, my buddy learned this the hard way. He kept rotating his tires to fight the death wobble on his TJ, but it just got worse. The real fix was finally replacing the whole steering setup, from the worn out track bar to the shot bushings. It cost him a pretty penny, but it was like driving a new truck afterwards. He said all that rotating was just throwing money away on tires while ignoring the broken parts.
