TIL that welding my sliders on instead of bolting saved me 40 pounds but now they're never coming off
I welded the rock sliders to the frame on my Tacoma last month and the truck sits way lighter over bumps, which I didn't expect at all. Problem is I cracked one on a rock at Uwharrie and had to grind the whole thing off to fix it. Anyone else weld their armor and regret it later, or is bolting just the smarter move?
