Found a wild stat about how much power AI training runs use
I was reading through a research paper last night and saw that training one single large language model can use as much electricity as 100 U.S. homes do in a full year. That number just hit me different because I never thought about the environmental cost behind every chatbot reply. Has anyone else seen stats like this that made you rethink how we use these tools?

Honestly kinda makes you wonder if all those "look what I made ChatGPT do" posts are worth it. Never really thought about the grid getting hit just so someone can ask AI to write a poem about their cat.
