Appreciation post: the line guy who said my flap track was fine
Last Tuesday at the hangar in Tulsa, the line guy glanced at my 737 flap track and said it looked like a dented beer can, so I borescoped it for 3 hours and found a hairline crack that the logbook swore wasn't there, anyone else ever gotten a save from someone who wasn't even A&P?

Wait til you tell the higher-ups the logbook was wrong, cuz that opens a whole can of worms about who signed off the last inspection. Did that line guy happen to say what made him even look at the flap track in the first place, or was it just random gut feeling? Sounds like he saved you from a real headache later, but I'd be curious if he's seen that same issue on other 737s rolling through there.
