Fell for that "high torque" electric ratchet hype and wasted $180 on a tool that barely breaks lug nuts loose

Bought that cheap brand off Amazon thinking I'd save time on panel work but it died on the third bolt, had to finish the job with my old manual ratchet; anyone else get burned by those flashy online deals?

That's a bit harsh though. A lot of those cheap Amazon tools actually work fine for light stuff, just not for lug nuts. The torque specs are usually way exaggerated in the ads.
