Figured out a cleaning trick for fuel injector screens that saved me an hour
I was fighting with clogged injector screens on a 172 last week and tried using an ultrasonic cleaner with a specific solvent mix instead of scrubbing them by hand. It got them spotless in just 8 minutes compared to the usual 45 of picking at them with a brush. Has anyone else tried this method or do you stick to the manual's way?

Try soaking them in Seafoam first for an even quicker clean.

Wait, @andrew_miller90, you actually trust Seafoam not to just turn the whole mess into a weird science project? lol. I tried soaking some old carb parts in that stuff once and it just made the garage smell like a gas station for a week. Plus, I still had to scrub them with a wire brush for like an hour to get the gunk off. Maybe my parts were just too far gone or something, but Seafoam just seemed to soften the crud without actually dissolving it. I'd rather just toss the whole thing in the ultrasonic cleaner and call it a day.
