Hot take: I watched a guy safety wire his luggage rack with .032 and it held for 3 states
So we're doing a quick turn on a 737 in Boise last Tuesday and this new kid asks me to check his safety wire job on the nose gear door. He used .032 instead of .041 and twisted it clockwise, which is backwards, so of course it looked like a bad braid. I told him to redo it, he got mad, and I ended up redoing it myself in 10 minutes while he pouted. Has anyone else had a greenhorn argue about twist direction like it's a personality trait?
