I picked the Coors Light over a local IPA at a taproom on Central and honestly it was the right call
I know that sounds like a crime in this town, but hear me out. Last Friday at a spot off Central, the bartender had maybe 20 taps going and I was staring at a dry-hopped thing with a name I couldn't pronounce, and I just ordered a Coors Light instead because I wanted something cold that wouldn't fight me after a 10 hour day. My buddies gave me a hard time for the rest of the night, but I actually got to taste my green chile stew and not some pine cone flavor. Maybe it's just me but I think people here care more about looking like a beer person than drinking what they actually want. Anyone else got a spot where the simple choice beats the fancy one?
