Paid $220 for a 'same day' garage door fix that took 4 days

Last Tuesday my spring snapped off the door on San Mateo and I called a place that swore they could have it done by evening. Guy showed up Wednesday, said the part was wrong, then didn't come back until Friday morning. The $220 labor charge was upfront before he even opened his toolbox, and I still had to buy the spring myself from Lowe's for $38. Anyone else get burned by those emergency repair outfits that overpromise the timeline?
