Pro tip: the tram at the BioPark is way calmer than the zoo lot on a Saturday
Went to the BioPark last Saturday around 10am and made the mistake of trying to park near the zoo entrance. Lot was packed and I circled twice before giving up. Drove over to the Aquarium side, found a spot in like 2 minutes, and took the tram back over. Honestly the ride was part of the fun. My kid was way more into the tram than most of the animals. Turns out the tram runs every 15 minutes or so and costs a couple bucks, way less stress than fighting for a spot. Has anyone else figured out the Aquarium lot is the move or am I just late to this?
Wait, there's a tram? I've been parking at the Aquarium side for years and just walking the path like some kind of farm animal, hauling a diaper bag and a cooler the whole way. My legs were sore for two days last time and my kid kept asking why we couldn't ride the train thing that kept passing us. Turns out I've been doing the sheep walk while a two dollar tram was right there. So yeah, you're not late, I'm just apparently bad at reading signs.
