Sandia Crest road construction is totally different this time around

Used to be you could just drive up any time before 10am and miss the crews. Last month I tried that same trick and sat for 45 minutes waiting on a pilot car. They changed the whole schedule back in March. Anyone else notice the delays getting worse up there?

This is just how everything is going now, not just the road to Sandia. Every little thing takes twice as long and has twice as many rules as it did five years ago. I noticed the same thing at the grocery store self checkout and even at the post office. They keep changing the times and processes on things that used to be simple, then act surprised when people get frustrated. The worst part is they never announce the changes, you just show up and find out the hard way. It feels like the whole world is getting harder to navigate for no real reason.

Oh man @tessa368 you nailed it. I went to mail a package last week and the self serve kiosk had a whole new screen I had to fight through, took me twice as long as it should have.
