Shoutout to the guys at the Hamfest in Kutztown who told me recapping my old tube tester was a waste of time
I ignored that advice and swapped out 6 filter caps for $14, and now the tester reads within 2 percent on every tube I throw at it, so I have to ask: when did recapping a 60 year old piece of test gear become the thing nobody bothers with anymore?
